Portland Wedding Photographer | Marfa Wedding | Clayton Austin Workshop

Marfa Texas is like no place I have even been.  The little town in eastern Texas is quite the opposite of Portland, Oregon with rolling hills peppered with cacti.  For the workshop we stayed at El Cosmico a funky little artsy ‘glampsite’.  The workshop was held at an amazing house in town with a salt water pool and impeccable bohemian decor.  The entire experience was amazing and I am so thankful that I decided to bite the bullet and go last minute.  I learned so much and met some amazing people.

Clayton had a fun twist on his astronomy inspired styled shoot just on the other side of El Cosmico.  Instead of the typical blue you see with astronomy he decided to have a green theme with a gorgeous green dress that he dyed himself.  Clayton’s creativity through the whole experience was so inspiring.  He definitely believes that if you can’t find what you want then you can make it.
